JIM RICE

Jim has been competing and judging in AKC Hunt Test and Field Trials for over 35 years. Over his 35 year career as a Trainer he has successfully trained, handled, and finished over 50 Master Hunters, 60 Senior Hunters, 95 Junior Hunters and Field Champions. He finished his first German Wirehair Pointer in Southern California and currently resides in Redding, CA. He and his Grandkids are currently training dogs for both Upland Game and Water Fowl Hunting.

 Jim was the President of the German Wirehaired Pointer Club of Southern California for ten years. In 2009, Jim was elected to Vice-President of the Lassen Retrievers Club in Redding, CA. He started branching out into training retrievers for AKC Hunt Tests, showing his versatility and mastery in dog training.

One of his greatest experiences was when he was invited to the Big Island Bird Dog Club in Hawaii to conduct Training Seminars in 2000 and 2001.

FRANK BARRY

Frank has lived in Redding, CA and has been helping Jim for the past 3 years. He has one Junior Hunt Test Title and is currently working on many more, including his own two dogs. He was raised with animals and has been committed to their care his whole life. In his off time he likes to Hunt and play games.
